Our vision

There are an estimated 17,000+ people groups in the entire world. Over 7,000 of those are considered unreached, meaning they have no way of hearing about Jesus Christ and what He did for them on the cross. That makes up more than 3 billion people. The majority of those people are found in a part of the world called the 10/40 Window, located mostly in Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. The majority of the money, resources, and missionaries sent by the American church will go to areas of the world that are considered to be already reached. In fact, less than 1% goes to the 10/40 window, which means that only 1% of the resources are being used to reach 1/3 of the world’s population.

Gen12 has a vision to see this changed. We want to connect American churches and American businesses to these areas of the world so that the gospel of Christ can be spread to all people groups on earth within our lifetime. If Revelation 7:9 states that in the end “every nation, tribe, people, and language…” are present in heaven, then we have a long way to go. We desire to see Christ’s second coming and to be with Him in heaven for eternity, yet the Bible clearly says “This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations. And then the end will come.” We have been commanded by God to take the gospel message to all nations, so that His glory may be known among all people. It is our goal to do what God has called us to accomplish as a Church body. We want to see His name glorified in all of the earth- among all nations, all tribes, all people, and all languages.

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
